Dr Roger Mugford, world-renowned animal psychologist specialising in canine behavioural therapy, established his veterinary referral service for ‘problem pets’ in 1979. Since then the Company of Animals Pet Centre, located on a 100-acre farm in Chertsey, Surrey has added many additional services to cater for our four-legged companions.
In 2021, we launched our veterinary physiotherapy and hydrotherapy services as part of our expanded commitment to pain management and the overall well-being of pets and in 2023 we opened the world's first Pet Head Grooming Salon.

Class Training
Our superb facilities include an indoor training room, enclosed outdoor paddock, and acres of farmland. Classes run all year round – with daytime, evening and weekend sessions available.
Dr Roger Mugford and his team have been resolving behaviour problems in pets for over 40 years. This wealth of experience, along with sound scientific knowledge, ensures that you and your pet are in safe hands when faced with problematic behaviour.
We combine both physiotherapy & hydrotherapy treatments including electrotherapies, manual therapies, land-based exercises and advanced underwater treadmill treatments to ensure we meet your pet’s needs.
