What to Expect
Initial Consultation (1-1.5hour)
The initial consultation may take 1- 1.5 hours depending on complexity and stage of the problem. During the session, our professionally qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist will take detailed history and background information. We will then perform a comprehensive assessment of your pets mobility, neurological status, passive range of movement as well as palpating relevant soft tissue and joints to find areas of pain and tightness before commencing appropriate treatment.
We will also support you with specialist advice as well as providing a comprehensive aftercare and homecare management programme adapted to suit both the owner and dog.
Follow-Up Appointments (45-60 minutes)
On-going treatment sessions are provided, combining physiotherapy and hydrotherapy techniques depending on your dog’s needs. We will also provide you with an aftercare and homecare programme.
